Financial Considerations
The Pavilion Senior Living’s communities offer private-pay rental apartments. Terms are month-to-month, and no “buy-in” fee is required. Our residents pay a single monthly base rental rate plus Personalized Service Plan (PSP) charges.
The base rent includes dining, utilities, events, housekeeping and linen services, an emergency safety alert system, wellness checks every 30 days performed by a nurse, apartment and community maintenance, and scheduled transportation.
A thorough assessment is performed by our team before move-in that will identify your specific individualized needs (Level of Service). Your Personalized Service Plan (PSP) will be developed and will identify what (if any) additional fees will be added.
You may be eligible for certain deductions on your federal tax return depending on the types of services and the level of care you require. We advise you to speak with your financial advisor for additional information.
A reservation deposit is required to hold your selected apartment and a non-refundable community fee is required at time of move-in.
Our base rate for assisted living and memory care includes three meals a day, housekeeping, a load of personal laundry and fresh linens and towels each week, an emergency safety alert system, wellness checks every 30 days performed by a nurse, transportation to community programs, and all of our in-house activities.
Many state and federal programs offer financial assistance for certain senior living expenses. For instance, in the U.S. there is a Federal benefit called “Aid and Attendance” in which both veterans and their spouses may be eligible to receive financial assistance with assisted living fees.
Some long-term insurance policies may also cover part or all of the costs for assisted living care. We encourage you to speak with your financial advisor to learn more about options that can help you afford senior living.
Before Moving Into a Community
The first step is to schedule a visit to one of our communities. You can do this online or over the phone. During your visit, we’ll show you around our community, introduce you to the team, and talk to you about your personal circumstances and how we can meet your individual needs.
We work with each family to support their needs as best we can, including accommodating urgent move-ins when possible. Residents receive a full care assessment prior to moving in, which helps our care team develop his or her Personalized Service Plan (PSP). We will also need the proper health and medical documentation from your physician as required by the state before a move-in can take place.
Yes! At The Pavilion Senior Living communities, couples can live together in their own suite surrounded by their familiar belongings. Alternatively, suites can be shared by friends or companions who simply enjoy each other’s company with the added benefit that it’s our most affordable option.
No! Our assisted living and memory care communities do not require long-term lease commitments. However, most of our communities require a deposit/move-in fee upon signing the residency agreement. We also require 30 days written notice prior to moving out of the community.
Navigating Levels of Senior Care
Yes, we offer short-term stays at our communities. A short-term or respite care is a convenient option when planned or unforeseen circumstances occur such as a family vacation or recovery from an illness. Guests can also receive assistance during an illness or rehabilitation after a hospital visit.
The Pavilion Senior Living’s Guestpitality Program can also serve as a great opportunity to try-out life at The Pavilion Senior Living. You are invited to stay with us as our guest for 30 days at a discounted rate. For more information about short-term stays, click here.
While each community offers different types of care, we cover the full spectrum of care. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, respite care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing care. Please visit our community page to see what types of senior care is offered at each of our communities.
Upon move-in, our nurses and care team will assess your current health and wellness using an organized, thorough approach to determine how we can best meet your needs. They will also discuss your preferences as well as your normal routines to develop a care plan that’s tailored specifically to you. This Personalized Service Plan (PSP) details your care and is regularly updated to meet your evolving needs.
Yes! We have a skilled nursing facility in Lebanon, Tennessee. Visit our communities page to learn more.

We believe in a family’s right to choose everything – from a primary care physician to a physical therapist. Residents may keep their current physicians or our team can help them find a physician near the community.
Some doctors make regular visits to our communities, but a resident is not obligated to use them. We also provide scheduled transportation for our residents who need a ride to a doctor’s appointment for an additional fee.
Absolutely! This is your home, and you should have all the comforts and furnishings you enjoy. We are sensitive to the health needs of all of our residents, so our community is a non-smoking environment. However, we do offer dedicated areas for residents and their guests to smoke.
The Pavilion Senior Living Community communities offer a robust calendar with various opportunities for learning, creativity, exercise and spirituality every month. Each event is designed to touch on at least one of eight specific components to keep the mind, body and spirit active.
From concerts and guest lectures to theater and exercise, games and classes, services and celebrations, civic and volunteer opportunities, shopping, movies and dances, and much more, you can remain as active and involved as you like.
As this is our residents’ home, we welcome visitors and work with family members and friends to visit their loved ones at a time that works best for them.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own pet with you!
